We have provided this general terms and conditions so that our makeup clients understand how Heather Steele handles liabilities, payments, travel fees, cancellations, booking schedule, and additional parties that may desire makeup artistry services during your event. You’re encouraged to contact Heather if you have any questions or would like more information or clarification of any of these terms.

Any skin and/or eye irritations, problems, allergies, and any concerns must be reported to Heather prior to makeup application. All brushes, pencils, tools, applicators and products are cleaned and sanitized prior to use. Heather uses the best products possible and will not be held liable for any irritations, rashes, breakouts, etc.

Cash or checks are accepted. There is a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable, retainer due upon booking. Remaining balance due in full on day of event. Services may be canceled no later than 30 days prior to event. There will be a $35 fee on any bounced check. The retainer will be deducted from total due.

Travel fees:
Client will be held responsible to pay the travel fee including all tolls, parking fees, valet and any other fees incurred due to parking limitations. Heather Steele generally does not charge a travel fee within 45 minutes of zip code 90717. Charges vary per destination depending on logistics. Please contact Heather for more information.

Services can be canceled prior to the event, but no later than 30 days before the event. Client is responsible to pay, in full, all services booked if services are canceled any time within 30 days of the event.

Booked Time:
All parties are responsible to be present at booked time. Client(s) that are unable to make scheduled appointment are liable for payment in full.

Additional Parties:
Heather understands that additional persons may be interested in last minute appointments. They may be accommodated depending on the amount of time left available and the type of services desired.
